The Morgan Minnaar Trust is an organisation working with school aged children in Leicester. The vision of the trust is to establish a strong Christian union or Christian club in every school in the city.

The trust currently employs Dave Smith as a schools worker involved in a number of schools as well as leading church based youth work.

The trust is currently involved in clubs linked to:

• Alderman Richard Hallam Primary School,
• Babington Community Technical College,
• Beaumont Leys Secondary School,
• City of Leicester School,
• Judgemeadow Community College,
• Queensmead Primary School,
• St John the Baptist C.E. Primary School,
• and St Paul’s Roman Catholic School.

Within all of these schools the trust is trying to be true to its values of loving and supporting the community of the school, (often undertaking lessons, assemblies, and other activities requested by the school) whilst providing a means for enquirers to explore the Christian faith, and for Christian students to be empowered in their beliefs.

It is a key feature of all the clubs that the number of enquirers far outnumbers the Christian students. The trust is committed to a short term goal of supporting and mentoring 500 pupils who are glad to call themselves Christians.
